Your Birth Date → Conception Window

We use real obstetric data: human pregnancy from conception to birth follows a normal distribution centered at 268 days (38 weeks 2 days) with a standard deviation of ±14 days, based on ultrasound-confirmed studies. This means we can work backwards from your birthday to estimate when you were most likely conceived — not as a single date, but as a probability curve spanning about 60 days.

2

Ramadan Calendar Dates

Ramadan is the 9th month of the Islamic lunar calendar. Because the lunar year is ~11 days shorter than the solar year, Ramadan shifts earlier each year. We use verified astronomical calculations for Ramadan's precise start and end dates from 1940 to 2025, covering anyone born between 1940 and 2024.

3

Overlap Calculation

We integrate your conception probability curve over the Ramadan window(s) that fall in the relevant year. The result is the fraction of the probability mass that overlaps with Ramadan — your personal probability. Because Ramadan spans ~29-30 days and shifts annually, results vary widely across birthdays.

4

What the % Actually Means

If you see 35%, it means that given everything we know statistically about human gestation, 35% of the probability distribution of your conception date falls within Ramadan. It does not mean you definitely were — or weren't — conceived then. Think of it as a lunar lottery ticket score.
